I spent some of the more boring moments of the Thames Estuary crossing working out a few facts and figures. Kalessin left Suffolk Yacht Harbour on 9 May 2024 and returned on 25 September, 140 days later.

- Northernmost point: off Lossiemouth 57º 45'N
- Westernmost point: Dun Laoghaire 6º 8'W (although only fractionally further west than Tobermory)
- Southernmost point: off the Lizard 49º 57'N
- Longest passage: Arklow to Newlyn, 186 miles
- Shortest passage (not counting canals): Brixham to Torquay, 4 miles
